Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans
The MSGP requires marinas, boat yards and yacht clubs to develop best management practices to address special environmental concerns that are associated with activities of operators, patrons and members. SWPPPs must include descriptions of the measures taken to minimize pollution from activities like sanding, painting, pressure washing, winterizing, recreational activities, material storage, and engine repair and maintenance.
- Water Action can help you understand how to develop the required SWPPP,
- Help you revise an existing SWPPP, or
- Develop an entire facility-specific SWPPP meeting all the requirements of the MSGP
